Scaena — Gallery-Commerce Platform (scaena.art)

Scaena needed a premium gallery experience that doesn’t just showcase art — it converts collectors. We built a high-end, story-driven platform with curated collections, community/exhibitions, newsletter capture, and commerce-ready UX — turning “browsing” into “collecting.”

The Challenge

Most art sites look beautiful but don’t guide visitors toward buying, joining the community, or engaging with exhibitions — resulting in weak conversion and low retention.

The Solution

A gallery-first commerce experience with PAS-driven messaging, curated collections, community hooks, and conversion-ready flows designed to move visitors from discovery → desire → action.

// Verified Project Outcomes

  • Outcome: Clear conversion journey from homepage story → collection exploration → inquiry/checkout
  • Outcome: Stronger brand authority with gallery-grade presentation and editorial copy
  • Outcome: Improved retention via community + guestlist + newsletter capture loops
  • Outcome: Scalable structure for rotating collections and exhibitions without redesigning pages

The Problem: Beautiful Galleries That Don’t Convert

Scaena needed a site that feels like a true gallery — but also behaves like a modern product. Many art websites look good, yet fail to guide visitors toward collecting, joining the community, or engaging with exhibitions. That creates missed revenue and weak brand momentum.

My Solution: A Gallery-Commerce Experience Built for Action

I designed and implemented a premium platform experience using PAS-driven storytelling: Problem (empty walls are missed opportunities), Agitate (mass-produced filler fades into the background), and Solution (curated works with authenticity and impact). The experience is structured to move users from discovery to collection exploration, then into community capture and purchase intent.

Key Features

  • PAS-led homepage messaging that frames the collector journey.
  • Collections + artworks structure designed for scalable curation and seasonal refreshes.
  • Community & exhibitions section with guestlist capture for opening nights.
  • Newsletter capture positioned as “no noise, just art” to build retention.
  • Trust signals: authenticity, quality verification, and secure logistics messaging.
  • Conversion CTAs that stay consistent across sections (start collection, browse, join guestlist).

Results

  • Clear collector flow: story → browse → explore collection → take action.
  • Brand authority: gallery-grade design + editorial tone.
  • Retention loops: guestlist + newsletter captures keep the audience close.

Summary

Scaena.art is designed as a living gallery platform — curated, conversion-aware, and scalable for future exhibitions, collections, and commerce expansion.
